Overview of the role

You will be part of newcleo’s Group Transformation team, which is responsible for program management and coordination of all company-wide initiatives to support organizational growth and deliver newcleo’s vision. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the success of the organization as a whole, working closely with the teams based in Italy, France and the UK.

 

Main Activities

  • Key responsibility focuses on the integration of acquired companies. As such, you will :
    • Develop the integration strategy, set integration guiding principles and act as a champion of the integration project to create the drive needed to capture the value of the transaction.
    • Focus project on the most critical tasks and align all stakeholders with the deal thesis.
    • Coordinate workstreams: 
      • Understand priorities, operating needs and different workstream responsibilities. Anticipate, plan and solve cross‑functional interdependencies.
      • Ensure all integration team members perform their functional assessment.
    • Evaluate budget and synergies: build and manage the integration budget and identify, track and capture synergies.
    • Monitor and report post-acquisition project: 
      • By engaging with all stakeholders, monitor the execution of value creation and integration plans, including synergies realization.
      • Evaluate risks associated with the integration and mitigate them.
    • Capture lessons learned and recommendations for future acquisitions and integrations.
  • On top, you will be involved in the Group Transformation program:
    • Lead strategic initiatives required to develop newcleo business and organizational maturity.
    • Develop appropriate strategies to provide a structure for future organizational development, process and tool development with multinational and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Identify and obtain the necessary resources to support organizational change programs and initiatives, as needed, by applying best practices in program and change management.
    • Establish and oversee the maintenance of corporate governance processes to enable effective decision-making.

 

Qualifications required

  • Master degree in management or engineering
  • Fluency in English and Italian; French is a plus.
  • Significant experience in complex program management and change management;
    • 5-7 years of experience in project management, ideally in consulting or corporate;
    • Experience in integrating companies;
    • Experience in seeking and obtaining stakeholder buy-in;
  • Analytical mindset, focused on achieving optimal business results and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, accustomed to working in an international environment and able to articulate complex concepts in a simple way and adapted to a specific audience;
  • Collaborative approach with a flexible and open mindset allowing cross-functional collaboration in a multicultural environment.
  • Resilience to work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
  • Position based in Turin. Frequent travel to the acquired companies expected, 3 to 5 days per week, depending on business needs.
