ERP Specialist

Role Description

The ERP Specialist is an early-to-mid career professional with at least three years of experience in ERP implementation projects, ideally gained within a consulting environment. The role requires hands-on exposure to ERP systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite), strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of business processes, data, and system integration. The ERP Specialist supports the ERP Product Owner in the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The role contributes to system stability, efficiency, and user adoption through effective support, testing, documentation, and implementation activities, ensuring ERP solutions remain aligned with evolving business needs. Working on ERP systems in the analysis of integrations involves understanding how data flows, how systems interact, and how business processes are supported end-to-end across multiple platforms.

Main activities

Support & Operations
- Provide first-level support to ERP users by resolving functional issues and troubleshooting system incidents
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the ERP Product Owner with clear analysis and documentation
- Perform routine system checks to ensure system availability, data accuracy, and optimal performance
- Support user access management, including role assignments, permission updates, and access reviews

Implementation & Change
- Support ERP implementation, enhancement, and upgrade initiatives under the guidance of the ERP Product Owner
- Assist with system configuration activities, including workflows, fields, and standard reports
- Participate in testing activities such as system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Assist with data validation, cleansing, and migration activities during system implementations or upgrades.

Documentation & Training
- Maintain and update ERP system documentation, process descriptions, and user guides
- Support the creation and upkeep of training materials to promote effective system usage
- Assist with onboarding and training end users on ERP functionality and best practices

Desired qualifications

- Degree in Management Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics.
- English and/or French is a plus
- +3 years of experience in ERP Implementation ideally from a strong consultancy.
- Ability to work independently and multitask within a collaborative work environment.
- Willingness and aptitude for continuous improvement
